Keep Going in the midst of the pain. It's not about your feelings; it's about what you believe. Our minds are powerful and can be used to do what seems impossible. We can do ALL things in Christ who strengthens us. (this is the truth) Christians have unlimited supply of power for everything that goes on within our lives.
We can choose to fold? Blame and turn against God? If we choose that we'll never see the power of the Holy Spirit in our tragedies, turmoil, pain and hurt. Our God knows what He's doing and why he has allowed these encounters to happen. Our job is to surrender to the Holy Spirit. He will empower us to make it through.
I used to believe, if I did everything right, live as righteously as I could, then God would bless my household. We wouldn't suffer anything serious. I was completely wrong. No-one knew I was homeless; working 2 jobs, helping people in the midst of deep grief of losing my only child and financially supporting a friend and family member. While at night sleeping in my son's car. I made a decision to keep going and the Holy Spirit empowered me. I continued to worship the Lord God in the midst of living in the car; enduring great agony, deep suffering, and my body being attacked.
I was sick, throwing up, having difficulty breathing, and my body was sore. I knew I had to get through this, as difficult and hard as it was. This had to be done. What makes us different from the people in the world, is how we respond to the encounters in our lives. We're fully loaded by the Holy Spirit. We simply need training on how to use what we have in Yeshua.
This entry is a reminder. We have the power to keep going in Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit, regardless of what were enduring.
Sincerely,
Rev. Shakera Santiago
